"Beautiful cottage in idyllic location. Everything perfect including the weather"

says the Bell family from Helenburgh.

"We love Cromarty and this house was the icing on the cake!"

says the Scott family from Lockerbie.

Cromarty is situated at the end of the distinctive Black Isle only half an hours drive from the Highland capital Inverness  in the heart of the  Scottish Highlands.

It is a fantastic base to explore, walk the nearby cliffs and coasts, mountain bike the trails at the new hub, Learnie Red Rock or dolphin watch with Ecoventures from the picturesque harbour. Take the smallest ferry in Britain across the Cromarty Firth to taste whiskey  at the famous Glenmorangie Distillery and visit the imposing Dunrobin Castle. Go West to the magical Isle of Skye or South to see the famous Loch Ness monster.

There is great local sailing with clubs at the Harbour and nearby Chanonry.  Scotland being the home of Golf means there is a multitude of great Links courses available from the Royal Dornoch to the nearby Fortrose.

The village is well served with a wonderful Pizza/Sea Food restaurant, Sutor Creek, it's little sister, Coupers Creek, which is a day time cafe with an ice cream parlour, a hotel and pub both serving food, a fantastic Bakery, a Book Shop/Coffee Shop in the Emporium, a little but well stocked supermarket, a Cheese Shop, an Antique Shop and a Post Office.

We also have a great sandy beach with grass areas for the kids to play.
